Mississippi Historically Close Elections

Mississippi continues to have close constitutional elections despite outdated voter registration laws, lack of early voting and no excuse absentee voting, and ongoing voter suppression. Talking with the most marginalized voters to get them back engaged in the voting process could lead to marginalized voters using their power to elect leaders in the state who pursue policy outcomes that directly impacts them.
